David Fearheller, Principal
Fearheller Advisors
David formed Fearheller Advisors after nearly three decades of experience working as a Certified Public Accountant with Ernst and Young, and as an investment banker with firms such as Morgan Stanley raising capital for a wide variety of businesses and non-profit organizations. He has held positions as CFO and Controller for a variety of business entities.
After obtaining his MBA in finance and accounting, he began his career in public accounting working in both the audit and consulting divisions, and also gained experience in the tax division preparing corporate and personal tax returns. His clients included companies such as the former McDonnell Douglas Company (now part of the Boeing Company), Elkay Manufacturing Company (one of the country’s largest plumbing fixture manufacturers) and the Hyatt Corporation, as well as many small and medium sized companies.
David then transitioned into investment banking where he directed a variety of capital funding projects, that included the development of nearly $1 billion of publicly offered real estate and oil and gas partnerships, both public and private equity and debt offerings, along with advisory services for mergers and business combinations, plus a variety of other financial advisory services. His work also encompassed pioneering efforts in the development of over $1.5 billion in financing for several of the nation’s prominent hospitals.
This experience led him to co-found a nationwide personnel staffing company, that grew to 14 offices nationwide within its’ first 12 months of operations, and to an annualized revenue run rate of $20 million where he served as COO/CFO, providing financial services personnel to such clients as Bank of America, Wells Fargo Bank, Citibank, Goldman Sachs, Cushman and Wakefield, Americredit, and other major U.S. corporations.
Subsequent to disposing of his interest in Discovery Staffing, he decided to follow his passion around raising capital and serving in financial management positions such as CFO and Controller for a $30 million nationwide nurse staffing company, a $70 million green homebuilder, a $5 million multi-site EBT medical imaging company, and a $2 million telecom company, among others.
